TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: Manager, Special Projects typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Support Project Management and team daily.
  • Facilitate and actively manage the submittal process
  • Create submittal / procurement logs for all projects.
  • Review all submittals for consistency, accuracy, and conformance to the specifications.
  • Log and actively manage the as built process for all projects. 
  • Compile O&M data from subcontractors for use and turnover at final commissioning.
  • Manage smaller projects.
  • Create and actively manage the RFI process including all correspondence and associated logs.
  • Log, manage, and distribute project related documentation as directed by project manager (ie. Addenda, Construction Bulletins, Punch Lists, record drawings, permit drawings)



  • Degree Preferred
  • 5 - 10 years of related experience
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience



  • Self starter
  • Needs little direction / Seeks out responsibilities.
  • Understanding client needs / fears
  • Ability to multi-task. Multiple projects / tasks at the same time.
  • Must have excellent time management / organizational skills.
  • Concise communicator
  • Trustworthy, Reliable
  • Excellent understanding of contract documents, RFI and submittal requirements
  • Champion change and productivity enhancements to operations. Blue Beam submittal review software
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project)
  • Experience with MS Access would be a plus
