The Construction Administrative Project Assistant – Healthcare/Transition Planner implements and executes all project activities on a transition project.


Typical responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist with a variety of project meeting needs, such as preparing minutes, agendas and action items
  • Provide support for schedule development and tracking of follow up activities
  • Coordinate move activities with vendors and owner representatives
  • Compile charts, graphs and data for project reporting
  • Participate in client operational interviews
  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of contract deliverables to clients
  • Provide field support during activation periods, including schedule development and coordination and vendor oversight
  • Provide field support during move activities, including move coordination with clients and management of move services personnel



  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field
  • 1 or 2 years in a healthcare facility would be helpful but not required
  • Construction, space planning and/or transition experience would be helpful
  • Experience developing executive reports, organizing and documenting meetings
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience



  • Excellent listening skills
  • Basic level of reading floor plans – ability to review and articulate architectural drawings
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Consulting and project management/coordination helpful
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Visio and Access preferred
  • Experience with scheduling and/or design software preferred
